A Victorian silver muffin style dish by S Smith & Son, London 1876, the retractable lid engraved with floral swags, a wreath and M S initials, enclosing a silver plated liner, over swags, on rams masks and hoof feet, 15.5 cm dia, 826g combined
One foot broken off, one of the chains is broken off, there are surface scratches including one large vertical mark along the lid due to wear from rubbing when opening and closing, the system of sliding it open and closed is rather fiddly, maybe due to warping of the silver, no breaks
