Lot 8A late Victorian silver three piece tea set by John Round & Son, Sheffield 1895, retailed by Edwards & Sons, Glasgow, comprising one teapot with ebonised handle and finial, a twin handled sugar bowl and a milk jug, each designed with faceted bodies and a reeded band detail as well as a gadrooned rim, the milk jug dated 1893, combined weight 566 g.
Lot 13A George V silver three piece tea set by Alexander Clark & Co Ltd, Sheffield 1923, comprising a teapot with carved pineapple finial and ebonised handle, a twin handled sugar bowl and a milk jug, each designed with faceted body and etched frieze to the top, together with a pair of Sheffield silver sugar tongs, combined weight 1033 g.
Lot 38A Victorian silver wine jug by Martin Hall, Sheffield 1860, with scroll handle ending in a lion mask, the lid with melon and vine leaf finial, with an ovoid shaped body profusely embossed with fruit, flowers, scrolls and foliage, centred with an engraved message cartouche dated 1863, on a short wasted circular base, weight 889 g, 30 cm high.
