Our Valuation Team

The auctions are run by a team composed of Hugo Lemon, Callum Macaulay-Brown and Simon Brown. They initially collaborated in 1990. Simon later established the Bourne End Auction Rooms while Hugo pursued a degree in Fine Art Valuation and worked at Sothebys. In 2017, Simon invited Hugo to join the Bourne End Auction Rooms and later on, Rachel Assous joined the team with her expertise in both auction houses and high-end London antique retail.

Fine silver & jewellery auctions

We hold three dedicated fine silver & jewellery auctions a year. As well as these auctions, lesser items are entered for our Antique, Fine Art & Collectors, and weekly auctions. This extensive range of auctions means that we can offer both the service and the audience to achieve the outstanding results that you deserve.

Highlights from the past two years include a 3.4 carat solitaire diamond ring in a platinum setting which sold for £14,500 to a local private buyer, and a natural sapphire and diamond ring sold to a South African buyer for £27,000.

*The first half of the catalogue for the weekly auction is available on Friday evenings with the complete catalogue available on Monday evening. Viewing for all auctions is on Tuesday from 09.30 - 17:00.
