A 19th century copy of a letter from Lord Wellington to Mayor General Cameron, informing him about his son being gravely wounded, together with a copy of a letter from the Surgeon of the Forces to General Cameron to reassure him his son will get better, but has limited use of his limbs, another letter of Lord Wellington informing Mayor General Cameron that the wounds were worse than believed and announcing his passing, and another letter by the surgeon explaining the death.
Together with copies of letters to Captain Rotheram by George Currie mentioning the death of his son Edward Currie.
