The 11" silvered regulator dial with centre minutes and subsidiary hour and seconds dials, signed JAS Hatton, London. The substantial month going movement with deadbeat escapement and jewelled pallets, signed I Thwaites on the front plate and numbered 4166, indicating a manufacturing date of 1808, with grid-iron compensation pendulum and brass cased weight.
