A pair of 19th century Japanese Satsuma large vases of ovoid form with twin apposing butterfly handles, a wasted neck and square rim, on a curved foot, decorated with scrolled leaves, rope and tassels, phoenix and other ornaments, 25 1/2"h, red signature to the bases. One is cracked in several places, both have damage to the mouldings
