A Victorian silver wine jug by Martin Hall, Sheffield 1860, with scroll handle ending in a lion mask, the lid with melon and vine leaf finial, with an ovoid shaped body profusely embossed with fruit, flowers, scrolls and foliage, centred with an engraved message cartouche dated 1863, on a short wasted circular base, weight 889 g, 30 cm high
