An early/mid 18th century bracket clock by William Hawkins, St Edmunds, Bury, with original wall bracket. The black lacquered bell top case having later walnut side panels, the arched dial having a matted brass centre with date aperture, silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, pierced gilt metal spandresl and inscribed silver plaque above. The movement having a later anchor escapement, floral engraved back-plate and striking on seven bells, 19 3/4"h including handle x 10 3/4"w, the wall bracket 8 1/4"h x 12"w
